Do I need a sales background to be a Referral Partner?

Helpful, but not required. What matters most is that you're comfortable talking with homeowners, asking good questions, and explaining a clear value proposition. Your Sales Partner training covers the product knowledge, scripts, and objection-handling you'll need.

Am I a Terra employee or a contractor?

You are considered a 1099 contractor.

Who handles design, permitting, and installation?

Terra. Your job is to close the deal and deliver a great homeowner experience. Once a contract is signed, our internal team handles design, engineering, permitting, and installation — and you'll have visibility into every step through our project tracking system.

When do I get paid?

Earnings are tied to completed installations. Specific timing is covered in your onboarding call and tracked through the Partner Portal.
