Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a sales background to be a Referral Partner?

Not at all. If you can introduce a homeowner to Terra, you can be a Referral Partner. Your Partner Portal onboarding gives you everything you need to feel confident sharing what we do.

How much time does this take?

That's up to you. Most Referral Partners share Terra opportunistically — when it comes up in conversation, or when they meet a homeowner who'd be a good fit. There's no quota and no required activity.

What happens after I send a referral?

Your Terra team takes over from there. They'll reach out to the homeowner, walk them through the Terra Subscription, and keep you updated through the Partner Portal as the deal progresses.

Can I become a Sales Partner or External Installer later?

Absolutely. Many of our Sales Partners and External Installers started as Referral Partners. Talk to your Terra support contact when you're ready to expand your role.

When do I get paid?

After the homeowner's system is installed. Specific timing and rate are covered in your onboarding call.

Is there a cost to become a Referral Partner?

No!
